Have you visited it yet?

We're very proud and happy to have launched our new website, with huge thanks to our communications volunteer, Marjolaine Abgrall, for the design and web development; to Jerome Chesnot, for letting us use his hosting company, Vista.ad and to our Research and Development volunteer, Lucy Radford, for the content.

The site went public a week ago, and we're getting some lovely feedback already. If you haven't had a chance to check it out, here's what you can expect to find.

We've introduced a lot more information about the Barbary macaque as a species - its habitat, behaviour and the things that make it so special. All this is accompanied by beautiful images from our team and from Andrew Walmsley, a wildlife photographer who visited us last year.

We've also added new sections to explain each of our projects in detail, from our recent research on Barbary macaque populations to the ongoing work on our conservation and education centre in Bouhachem. If any of the projects inspire you and you want to help us achieve our goals, we've included plenty of information about how to help us out - through donations, volunteering or even making a symbolic adoption of one of our Barbary macaque study groups.

You can find out a lot more about each member of our team, and who to contact for information about our projects. Our volunteers have written about why they give their time to the project, so you can see if it's something you'd like to do too. You can also read about our fantastic supporters - the organisations that make our work possible with funding, collaborative work and in-kind donations.

Please bookmark our site and share it with your friends so that everyone can keep up to date on our progress. Thank you for being part of BMAC's success!
