Chef's Demo with Todd Ginsberg

This Sunday, Chef Todd
Ginsberg will join us at market! Chef Ginsberg has been driving the Atlanta food scene forward for over a decade now. After serving as the executive chef at Bocado, he helped open the General Muir, where he also works as the executive chef. More recently has opened two wonderful spots at the Krog Street Market, Yalla and Fred's Meat and Bread, and opened The General Muir Bakery at Grant Park Farmers Market. Chef Ginsberg will conduct the demo at market on Sunday, showcasing his delicious talents using market ingredients. Stop by for a taste!

Meet Your Farmer

Rag & Frass Farm is located in Jeffersonville, GA, on what used to be an old motel and overgrown pasture. They've converted their land into a diversified 2-acre farm that specializes in vegetables, fruit, flowers, herbs and mushrooms.

They integrate a variety of sustainable methods into their growing practices, and always avoid using synthetic chemicals and pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers and treated seeds. "We farm nothing but the good stuff: boostrapping resourcefulness, tender loving care and lots of organic matter."

Meet Your Vendor

It's no wonder that Madeline Smiles has a devoted following in Atlanta. Her jewelry designs are beautiful, interesting, and unique. They are inspired by nature and the profound mystery and beauty of the world around us. Stop by her booth and see for yourself just how wonderful her work is, and pick up a gift for mom that she'll enjoy for a very long time.

SNAP Challenge

Would you be able to eat on $4.17 a day? For the week of May 10th - 17th, we challenge you to try it! By taking the SNAP Challenge and experiencing what life is like for 1 in 5 Georgians, we hope to raise awareness for alternatives like our partner, Wholesome Wave Georgia's programs to support access to healthy food for SNAP participants.

Since we double the value of SNAP at market, if you shop with us, your budget will double to $8.34 per day. Click here for more information about the challenge, and here if you'd like to go ahead and register!

Market Info

Located in Grant Park at the historic Milledge Fountain, 600 Cherokee Ave. Sundays 9:30 am-1:30 pm. Please visit our website for more details.

Double SNAP

We are a grateful partner of Wholesome Wave Georgia, an organization that doubles SNAP value at market. This means that $1 spent in SNAP at the market is worth $2. Visit this market info booth for SNAP tokens or to find out how you can support the program.

Pet Policy

We love our furry friends at market, but please always keep them with you and on a leash. For everyone's safety, only well-behaved pets should be brought to market.
