Announcements 

  • Prayers for the Kulm family Harold passed away May 18. A memorial service for Harold will be held Sat., June 6 at 4 p.m. 
  • Christian Enrichment this Sunday Hike! Gather to explore the new landscaping out front between the sidewalk and the sanctuary AND a hike down into and around our outdoor sanctuary. Rain or shine. Outdoor shoes or boots and camera recommended.
  • Stewardship Update Have you had a chance to make your pledge to support the 2015-16 budget? Your pledge commitment helps the Session create the budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1. Every pledge helps!
  • Outdoor Work Day Sat., May 30 9 a.m. – Noon. Join David DeVore and Rusty Garrison to help keep MPC grounds tidy and beautiful. Shovels, gloves, hoes, clippers available. Or bring your own favorite tools! We will provide lunch!
  • All-Church Gathering (and Taco Bar) Please join us after church on May 31 for a Mission Statement Writing Gathering. We will be gathering for a taco bar style meal. The church will provide taco shells/tortillas and ground beef so bring a taco topping to share- beans, cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, or your own favorite or two to share with the group.
  • City Camp Meeting May 31 5 p.m. Mandatory meeting for all Middle School youth interested in City Camp July 12-17, a week-long service and immersion experience in downtown Portland. This year we will be working with a Methodist church and pastor in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
  • High School Caravan Meeting May 31 8:30 p.m. Mandatory meeting for all parents and youth interested in Caravan. The Caravan trip will be June 21 – 27, working with the tribes in Yakima.
     
  • May Outreach Drive Clients of Clackamas Service Center need personal use items, clothing and household goods. See the Donation Corner bulletin board for details.
  • Choir Concert June 5 The Mt. Hood Community College Choirs will present a collection of songs by composers from around the world on June 5 at 7:30 p.m. The concert in the MHCC Visual Arts Gallery is free, family friendly, and open to the public.
