Saturday morning markets have been more popular than ever! Thank you all so much for the support.

We are happy to report that we are now running two "checkouts" on Saturday morning to help move through the line quicker and we have been able to keep a selection of most of our produce on the table past 11am.

We are now harvesting radishes, salad turnips, arugula, spinach and salad mix all from Sutherland Schoolyard Market Garden!

We had our first red strawberry of the season last week, so they won't be more than a couple of weeks away. There are also pea pods beginning to form, so we should have snap peas as early as next week.

Here's what's fresh this week:

Fresh Sheet

Wednesday May 20th, 4pm-6pm
Saturday May 23rd, 10am-12pm

  • Salad Mix
  • Arugula
  • Spinach
  • Radishes
  • Salad turnips
  • Kale bunches
  • Rhubarb (Saturday only)

Seedlings

  • Kale
  • Swiss Chard
  • Tomatoes (Vine: Sungold, Italian Paste Roma - we will have a wider selection starting next week)
  • Zuchinni (yellow, italian)
  • Basil
  • Cucumber (long english)
Please note: we do our best to project what we can harvest, but we can't guarantee that everything will be available, or available at both Wed. and Sat. markets.  As we have limited quantities of some items, arrive early for the best selection. Most items are limited to 2 per family/purchase.
