We are really enjoying Red Nose Day. Getting a chance to wear a big red nose while encouraging people to support several children's charities has made the day rewarding.

Red Nose Day's media and marketing campaign has been very effective this year. The celebrity power has undoubtedly been helpful, but the day has seen great notoriety because of the silly clown nose. This has been a great move in helping to make the day stand out.

As we saw the American Red Cross move to the Red Dress and even in looking at the viral success of the ice bucket challenge, the red nose provides for a more obvious and fun way to look at a dark cause.

In fact, I would challenge organizations such as Susan G. Komen to consider new methods to help bring fresh attention to the cause of breast cancer and being examined.

Hope you consider donating towards Red Nose Day. Tag us on social media to your red nose pictures.

P.S. Be sure to recognize Memorial Day this weekend online. Consider using terms such as "honoring those who lost their lives" instead of "Happy Memorial Day" or "Celebrate Memorial Day". The latter may cause people to question, what is "happy" about mourning the loss of others.
