Attention all Members, Players & Supporters of Blackwood Football Club,

We regret to inform you that Blackwood Football Club was reported to the HFL by the A Grade Field Umpires after being abused by a spectator/s after the final siren at Hahndorf on Saturday. A second report was also lodged for spectators taking alcohol into the ground at Lobethal on Sunday. We have been summoned to appear before the HFL Committee next Tuesday night to discuss these matters and will face the consequences of these actions.

We remind all of our members, players and supporters that we must respect the decisions of the game's officials. It is not, under any circumstances, acceptable to abuse the umpires. We also ask that you refrain from making any comments or complaints on social media, which may bring you or the club into disrepute. Behaviour of this nature will be not be tolerated by BFC or the HFL and this is not what we stand for.

If you have a grievance please use the proper channels to lodge your complaint – please see a committee member as your first point of contact. Please also remember that it is strictly prohibited to take your own alcohol into any of the grounds.
