Notes from the Pastoral Relations Committee:

The search team that brought us Pastor Frank, is now the Pastoral Relations Committee. We are Midge Chace, Tana Cantave, Randy Pitts, Naomi Shuler and Kevin Baker. The purpose of this team is to support and maintain an open and healthy relationship between the pastor and members of the congregation. The committee serves two primary purposes. As an advisory group the committee shares ideas, dreams, hopes, expectations, and concerns of the congregation with the pastor. As support for the pastor, the committee interprets roles, functions, and needs of the pastor to the congregation. The basic reason for this committee is to enhance the effectiveness of the church's mission. Constructive and caring communication in an atmosphere of confidentiality and trust is essential to the work of the committee. We will be meeting on May 26th. We will meet as a team, then meet with the pastor one Sunday afternoon in June.

Buses-n-Backpacks Update:

The last backpack of the school year was delivered to Croton Elementary this Wednesday. Thank you to all the volunteers who have helped keep this important mission going. A special thank you to Ann Nade for volunteering to co-lead this mission.
