A New Day for Project KnuckleHead
We've created a model that allows us to serve youth for years to come.
Over the past two years, Project Knucklehead has impacted 1,000+ youth through our programs. Now, I’m pleased to announce that each of our national youth programs will be completely funded by an annual event. This begins June 6th in Los Angeles at the Casino Night Gala that will fund a full year of our LA afterschool program. We hope to replicate the event in Miami and New Jersey throughout the summer.
Each fundraiser ticket pays for a week of our low-cost programs. Thirty dollars is all it takes to provide at-risk youth with the same support that helped me overcome a troubled past. In Los Angeles, this allows us to provide a low-income community where half of students drop out with the high school's only afterschool program. Students created their first school newspaper, receive tutoring, and engage in positive peer interaction through video games. In Miami, this funds a week of our music and art program for delinquent youth. The youth are redefining themselves as they paint murals, perform live, and are exposed to colleges and museums through field trips. We also keep our youth out of trouble by providing them with instruments and books to inspire self-expression.
To support our programs and fundraiser, we are seeking sponsorship in the form of online donations, gift certificates, raffles prizes, and checks. Because we are a 501c3 non-profit, all donations are tax deductible. I hope that you can support the movement. Check out the varying levels of sponsorship below. Support us soon and get your name/logo on the flyer as well as on our website.
Big thanks to the donors and volunteers for providing the support for us to inspire youth. Please forward this to anyone who may be interested in our cause.
