Changing Course

I'm proud to share with you the series that I wrote for The Atlantic on corporate change agents: nine posts that explore the potential of different corporate roles (the lawyer, the chief sustainability officer, product design, and more) to drive sustainability and human rights in a company. I look forward to your feedback!

Corporate Idealist must-read

Speaking of change agents, earlier this month I spoke at the wonderful Positive Business Conference at the Michigan Ross School of Business (video here) and finally got to meet Jerry Davis, who has a new book out with his colleague Chris White that is mandatory reading for Corporate Idealists: Changing your Company from the Inside Out: A Guide for Social Intrapreneurs.

Working at BSR

Many of you have asked me about working at BSR (formerly Business for Social Responsibility, where I'm an advisor); they've started doing quarterly information dial-in sessions that are free and open to all. Details on the next one here.

Seeking your input

As I'm getting ready to write a new foreword for the paperback edition of my book, I would welcome any reflections on how it's been useful to you. Some of you expressed joy and relief that you finally had something to give your parent / significant other / general counsel to explain what you do -- that's the sort of thing I'd love to hear!

Please hit 'reply' anytime to share your thoughts, on this and all else, and join me on Twitter and Facebook.

Until next time,
Christine
