Farm Fresh To You
"Family- like branches on a tree we all grow in different conditions yet our roots remain as one"
|
|
This weekend, we celebrate International Day of Families. The official United Nations (UN) day was May 15th. This year's theme focuses on gender equality and the rights of children.
We are blessed to have each of your families part of our Green Market community. We believe that the home and family are important teachers of care, love and peace.
In your farm-share basket this week, you will find...
I am 100% local, 86% naturally grown, without use of direct synthetic applications.
Angela's string beans, cucumbers and passion fruit, Chaguanas
Brian's five finger, Arouca
Judy & Roger's chinese cabbage and lemons, Arima
Joann & Larry's paw paw, Pipiol
Kevin's parson brown oranges, St. Joseph
Miss Pansy & Lisann's *green seasoning* and paw paw, Paramin
Narvin's sweet mama squash and horse plantain, Tableland
Peter's brother's pimentos, La Canoa
Robbie's hydroponic lettuce
Zen's sweet corn, La Pastora
Lagniappe
Free-range eggs provided by Green Market & Kevin of Pamphoor Farms.
If I am in italic red, it is my first time in the basket, grown by this farmer. If I have an *asterisk * by my name, it means that at some point in my life, my farmer used a synthetic chemical fertilizer/pesticide/fungicide . Please wash me.
