Green Market CSA Newsletter #19

Sweet moment from Mother's Day Sunday last week. Little Olivia chooses flower plants from the Yearwood family as gifts for the garden. The one on the left is for her grandmother, Selina and the one on the right is for her mother, Tessa. Right after, she enjoyed a scoop of vanilla ice cream from "Mama"'s truck.

Olivia loves flowers- it is her special request every weekend. Sometimes, she will come to the market dressed in bright colors as purple and pink, with a flower garland around her head. Once, she brought her CSA basket with a matching flower garland for Rheanna. It is always a big Mouttet family outing- a fond time for both them and the vendors who all know and love them.

Farm Fresh To You

"Family- like branches on a tree we all grow in different conditions yet our roots remain as one"

This weekend, we celebrate International Day of Families. The official United Nations (UN) day was May 15th. This year's theme focuses on gender equality and the rights of children.

We are blessed to have each of your families part of our Green Market community. We believe that the home and family are important teachers of care, love and peace.
