Superhero Training Academy is June 3 starting at 10:00am. Every child that is registered for the Summer Reading Program is eligible to attend this event. Registration is available at the door. Create a superhero costume! Test your strength! Test your aim! Test your courage!
Save the date!
Mark your calendars for an author event at the Stevens County Library on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.  This will be a free promotional event for Hugoton area authors to meet the public, discuss their work with attendees individually or as a whole, and will allow them to sell their books at the event.
Summer Reading
Stacey is starting to enter the Summer Reading Participants into the online program, Wandoo Reader. Parents: if you provided your email address on the "Every Hero Has a Story" registration form, you will receive a confirmation email from info@wandooreader.com. In order for you to log your child's reading online this summer, you will need to complete the registration process. If the registration process is not completed, library staff will be able to log pages and challenges, but your child will not have any access to the online account. There is nothing we can do to streamline this process because Wandoo Reader is compliant with COPPA regulations (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).

If you did not supply an email account on your child's registration, and you wish to log their reading online, please send Stacey your email address at youthservices@stevenscountylibrary.com or send us a message on Facebook.  We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the registration process.  Thank you.

Adult summer reading is not affected by the Wandoo Reader program at this time.  Registration is by paper forms that can be found at the library.
