SWI Ratings Report - May 19, 2015

SWI QuickPicks Ratings Report

Portfolio Value up 2.3%
May 19, 2015

Our Analyst coverage on VG Life Sciences (VGLS) was well received last week, the stock increased by 35% the next day and is holding steady on increased volume. This is not a day-trading stock, but the company deserves your attention, much more to come.

We have added three newcomers to our QuickPicks list:

Achaogen, Inc. (AKAO),
FS Investment Corporation (FSIC)
TriVascular Technologies, Inc. (TRIV)

Achaogen is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company passionately committed to the discovery, development, and commercialization of novel antibacterials to treat multi-drug resistant ("MDR") gram-negative infections. We are happy to add AKAO to our roster of biotech companies that we already cover. TriVascular Technologies, Inc., a medical device company that develops and commercializes technologies to advance minimally invasive treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms. FS Investment CorporationFS Investment Corporation is a business development company specializing in investments in debt securities.

We have changed five (5) stocks to neutral, downgraded two (2)
and upgraded six (6). The total portfolio value is up 2.3%.

We will start coverage of two new stocks for two very promising companies in a new and rapidly growing industry within the next few days. We will also add those new stocks to our SWW WatchIndex page and release two major research reports.

Note: We deliberately do not use the terms "buy", "hold" or "sell", but instead use "neutral", "upgrade" and "downgrade" in our QuickPicks list. This is based on our philosophy that by publishing our QuickPicks list we do not promote the buying and selling of specific stocks, but want to assist with your overall investment decision and provide some guidance.  We have added a "Trend" column, which should make it easier for you to follow the ups and downs of our picks.

Remember, in addition to our own research for our QuickPicks section, we pour over charts and third party analyst opinions and reports from such firms and individuals that we respect, in order to reach as much of a market consensus as possible. Naturally, on occasion the investment thesis for certain picks may break down. When that happens, we try and let you know as quickly as possible. Again, don't rely only on our guidance alone, but do your own due diligence and stick to your trading plan.
