In mid-March, Pashta MaryMoon (CINDEA’s executive director) spoke with a ‘death and dying’ course at the University of Quebec, Montreal campus about Death Midwifery and the ‘home funerals’ option.

Vital Conversations: Dialogues on Living and Dying Well
Pashta was also interviewed by Kim Adams (based in Boston) in a participatory webinar on April 16th (Canada National Advance Care Planning day). Many thanks to our 18-year old 'dead person' -- who gave up his Saturday to support the workshop.

The planned workshop for Saltspring Island was postponed until the summer or fall.

Please note that this workshop can be done as the practicum for Canadian students taking the online Beyond Hospice (home funerals, etc.) program (post-death care and legal paperwork) — including via Skype for students outside of the BC west coast area.
