ACT is excited to partner with one of our own to bring you random acts of theatre this summer. On the first fun Friday of each month, MKat Reclamations and the Dark Night Players present the Dark Night Playhouse!

The Dark Night Playhouse brings back the tradition and variety of vaudeville with a modern twist. The Dark Night Players write plays, they perform plays, they do improv, they dance, they sing, they play games, and make audiences laugh and cry.  But wait, there's more!

Each performance is completely different and filled with wacky sketches, audience participation, musical guest artists, tender moments, and groovin’ dance moves.  And that’s not all!

Each moment of this entertainment is delivered to you, our audience, in a fast paced game show style complete with awesome dollar store prizes from China!

Mark you calendar now for
June 5, July 3 and August 7
 
for three incredibly unique and fun nights at ACT that will have you begging for more. The show starts at 8 p.m. and no reservations or advanced sales needed – just an open mind and $10 cash at the door.

Warning – The Dark Night Playhouse can be highly addictive and may cause uncontrollable giggles, excessive slapping of the thighs, tears welling up, clapping of the beat, mindless macarena, thoughts being provoked, letting out of the dogs and a bleeding of the walls in the 53rd precinct.

laugh-a-minute show.

Save a night in June to come to ACT and spend an evening in Paris!

Swinging bachelor Bernard couldn’t be happier: a flat in Paris and three gorgeous stewardesses; French, Italian, and American; all engaged to him without knowing about each other. But Bernard’s perfect life gets bumpy when his friend Robert comes to stay and a new and speedier Boeing jet throws off all of his careful planning. Soon all three stewardesses are in town simultaneously, timid Robert is forgetting which lies to tell to whom, and catastrophe looms. Get ready to take part in this riotous farce.

BRING YOUR IMAGINATION TO LIFE WITH OUR SUMMER CAMPS!

ACT's exciting summer on stage theatre  program offers creative kids an amazing opportunity to bring their imaginations to life. During each camp week (except Fairy Tale With A Twist) students will create their own theatrical production from writing the scripts to creating the sets and backgrounds to costumes, make-up and more. At the end of each week students will perform the world premiere of what they have created together. With our unique format, the kids come up with the ideas and the scripts so it's never the same camp twice. With each camp, new opportunities and skills are learned, ensuring that each child has a great theater experience. (Fairy Tale with  a Twist will have scripts provided  to the cast/camp.)
WE GIVE YOU OUR FULL ATTENTION
Our program is taught by experienced theater professionals in our new theater space. They will teach skills in movement, acting, storytelling, improvisation, sets and scenery creation makeup and more. We break up each class for better learning.  Rising Stars (ages 6 -8), Young Actors (9-12) and Teen Interns (ages 13 –17). Our student-teacher ratio is 10 to 1 to make sure all kids have our full attention. Each class is custom-made  for the kids involved so everyone learns something new.  Here's our Camp line up for this year:
JUNE 8-12:  Frozen Again (Half Day – Choose Am or PM)
JUNE 15-19:  Time Traveler Tales
JUNE 22-26:  Medieval Mayhem (including sword fighting and more)
JUNE 29-JULY 3: Face-Off Frenzy
JULY 6-10: The Great Minion Escape
JULY 20-24: The Next Big Hero
JULY 27-31:  Magic Mischief Managed
AUG. 3-8:  Fairy Tale With a Twist
 
We also offer a Teen Internship program!  And, we'll be offering our First 1/2 day camp!
