Dear all:
I'd like to invite you all for the art show Listen • To the Songs of the Times (see additional details below) at The Small Gallery, this Saturday May the 16th at the Midtown Artwalk.
I will be participating in this show with an installation created with Rita Barnard based on the Peace Train song from Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam.
Our intent is to bring awareness to the Universal Human Rights Declaration (UHRD) created by the United Nations in 1948.
I believe that our world has to find a solution with Peace and Tolerance.
The 30 articles from the UHRD are the basis that unites mankind no matter what differences exist within global cultures.
About the Listen • To the Songs of the Times, artworks from 20 artists will be displayed based on different songs. The lyrics are meaningful in terms of conveying a message. It is a pleasure for me to participate in this show.
Just FYI, my studio will be closed during this time.
