Hey May,
summer's in the air!
The temperature is slowly rising in the month of May and we all get our first tempting summer thoughts of deep blue seas and sandy beaches. These past few days, the very first towels and umbrellas made their appearance on the Greek coast where the brave ones among us took their first refreshing dip in the blue sea!
With sunscreen and hats on, let’s
- depart for a mesmerising journey to Zagorochoria and go rafting on Voidomatis River
- taste the mouthwatering cuisine of Rhodes’ Island
- visit the elegant island of Serifos, an ideal short or long holiday destination
- rock till we drop with the music from this year’s Summer Festivals in Athens
- see Halkidikis’ beautiful seascapes and landscapes through Visit Greece’s video
- relax on the Blue Flag awarded beaches that have just been announced
- read all about the Heritage Awards given to Greece by Europa Nostra
- watch the ancient drama Electra of Euripides at the Badminton Theatre opening on June 12 and lasting until September 26, 2015
- see what Athinorama Suggests has for us this month.
Happy reading!
