Dear <<First Name>>,

Ready or not here we come, the Anderson family is returning to the United States on June 1st.

Saying goodbye
Cooking in the dark
Below outlines what we will be doing in the near future as we follow where God is leading us.

Home Assignment:

For the next year we will be living in Missouri and working as missionaries in the United States in a home assignment role.  We will continue to live on support; we do not receive a fixed salary, we only receive the funds that are sent to Wycliffe on our behalf. In addition to this role we have three main goals as we seek a new role with Wycliffe Bible Translators in the United States
  • Resting – It has been 6 years since we have thought about taking a break and we are looking forward to a change of pace.
  • Reconnecting – We are looking forward to spending time with all those who have been  partnering with us through finances, prayer, love, giving us medical advice, keeping us informed, standing beside us and being a listening ear for the last several years.  We will be traveling to Colorado, Ohio and Pennsylvania during the summer months.
  • Reestablishing - Moving around the world has many different challenges and we have been nomadic (rootless) and we seek to establish roots for at least one year in Missouri as the boys attend public school.

Thankfulness:

We want to give God all the glory for all He is doing in Cameroon and throughout the Bible Translation movement. We are thankful that He was able to use our skills and abilities in Cameroon and we look forward to how He will continue to use us. We give thanks for God’s goodness, God’s faithfulness and we give thanks for God’s Word.   We give thanks to all of you who are partnering with us through finances, prayer, love, giving us medical advice, keeping us informed, standing beside us and being a listening ear.

As we leave Cameroon we give thanks for all God has done and we look forward to how we will be able to continue to join in what he is already doing in the United States to bring His Word to all the peoples of the world.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. 1 Timothy 1:12
