Rev. Jennifer Ryu
9:15am & 11:15am
"Serving the Congregation"

The nature of volunteer service has changed since WUU began in 1989.    Members are overwhelmed by personal and family concerns and cannot volunteer as they used to.  How can we keep up with expectations without overstressing those who do the work of the congregation?

Building Expansion: Little Sanctuary
When WUUs heard that the "Little Sanctuary" would be cut from WUU's building expansion for financial reasons, a grassroots movement sprung up to save it.  Over two weeks, 28 donors volunteered to give more than $94,000, the amount needed to keep the "Little Sanctuary" in the design. The fund, dubbed "SOULS" for "Save Our Unique Little Sanctuary", is not part of the capital campaign and completely voluntary. The informal SOULS committee thanks you ALL for your words of support and your generosity.   -Linda, Roger, Sally, Allen and Les
