Another NEW Chr-Ed Class: Last week we announced our new senior high class (read more here), and now we have details to share about a new Christian-Education class for youth in middle school (grades 5-8 or ages 10-12) that starts Sunday, May 31. This class will meet in Nook #3 on the third floor of the Education building. The students will be using  Jesus in the Spotlight, an inductive Bible study written for youth by Kay Arthur and Cyndy Shearer, which teaches careful examination of Scripture using creative methods. Students  will pretend to be a film director who makes a movie about Jesus' life. Their movie will be about the first ten chapters of John's book, and it will be full of adventures. This hands-on book will help teach the basic skills of Bible study for a lifetime of discovering God's Word. If you have a heart for discipling youth at this crucial time in their lives, please talk talk with Kurt Brewer or Frankie Bennett about mentoring in these classes.  We hope to rotate leaders so that our students learn from a variety of wise mentors, and so that a wider range of adults will get to know and interact with these wonderful Covenant youth.

Hey, Parents: Have you ever noticed that the children's bulletins in the black and blue clip cases contain a secret code at the bottom of the front page? This secret code is unique to our church and allows SAFE and secure access to online games that reinforce the message for the week. You can continue Bible learning and discussion at home--while protecting children from the hazards of general Internet game sites. Several games are rotated: Memory Match, Word Search, Gems of the Bible, and Coloring Book,  so each week kids will have something new to play.
Step 1: Pick up a black or blue clip case with a bulletin inside that has a secret code on the front.
Step 2: At home, enter the secret code at Games.ChildrensBulletins.com
Step 3: Pick a game and play!

Nursery Needs: If anyone has a spare DVD or Blu-Ray player or Veggie Tale DVDs that they would be willing to donate to the nursery, please contact JaiLynne Wood.
For this Sunday
Christian-Education Classes: Join the discussion during our Christian-Ed. hour beginning with coffee and fellowship at 9:15 am, as we finish up our Christ and Culture class. Here are the handouts from last weekOur Redeemer Kids will review their Catechism learning this Sunday with a little party during the Christian-Ed. hour; read more information here about last week's lesson, and help your little ones learn their questions and answers for Recitation Sunday!

Sermon: Our senior pastor Craig Bailey will continue our series in Deuteronomy with Chapter 15 this Sunday.
