Public Works Week is June 1-6
The City of Meridian Public Works Department is hosting Meridian’s 7th Annual Public Works Week with a series of events planned for the week of June 1-6, 2015. These family-friendly events are intended to enhance the community’s understanding of the importance of public works infrastructure and operations and how both improve the quality of life for all Meridian citizens...Click here for a list of events.

Memorial Day in Meridian
Meridian City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. There are events happening across the valley including a ceremony at the Rock of Honor Memorial at Kleiner Park at 11am.
Another Great MYAC Year

Ball at the Hall was a HUGE success! The event raised nearly $2,200 for the Treasure Valley Youth Summit. Thanks to all who attended and helped make the "Prom for all Ages" so successful! Click here to see photos from the event and the photo booth.
New Traffic Patterns on I-84 This Summer
This weekend (May 28-31), a new traffic pattern will be put in place on I-84 between Meridian and Five Mile to accommodate construction on the outside lanes and shoulders.  One eastbound lane of I-84 will cross over to the westbound side between Meridian and Cloverdale roads. Drivers in this lane will not be able to exit eastbound I-84 at Eagle Road so please plan ahead. Over the summer, the traffic pattern on I-84 will continue to be adjusted....READ MORE.
