Hi Friends,
It's crazy to think that I've already raced six major events this year, traveled to California four times and spent a weekend in Colombia even though the most important races are still to come, with the World Cup beginning this next weekend in the Czech Republic.
Well, I'll be honest, the Whiskey Off-Road was a pretty important race for me and doubling up on victories in a repeat of last years' performance was special. I had prepared for the race in a way that I knew I was ready to give 100% and my Niner Jet 9 RDO (w/Stan's Valor wheels) was equally ready for the demanding course. So no matter the race outcome, I knew I could be content with my preparation and that's what I need to feel good about a race. But, the win was a win for my sponsors, my friends, the locals, and my parents who traveled to Prescott to watch the weekend unfold. The win was special to share with others in a way I couldn't have predicted.
After a good rest after the Whiskey Off-Road, I've been training hard and refocusing on the next block of racing. This year, I'm taking on the entire World Cup series and there's still a lot of logistics to plan, training to map, and work to do. Thanks for following along and you'll find some links below to more in-depth race race reports and coverage. Thanks again!
Ride On,
Chloe Woodruff

US CUP #3 - BONELLI
For the 3rd round of the US Cup, we were back on the dusty slopes of Bonelli Park in San Dimas, CA. The course hardly resembled the first version only a few weeks prior--it was far better despite a chewed up track with plenty of loose corners, braking bumps and enough rocks to carefully consider tire selection. This was an HC level event, which means there are enough UCI points up for grab to attract some top-international racers...Continue Reading
