100 Anchors Strong Campaign
Last year we had 67 local dues paying members. Our goal this year is to be "100 Anchors Strong" with 100 dues paying members for the 2015-2016 fiscal year. Baton Rouge Alumnae Panhellenic has 18 member organizations and we currently are the 7th largest member based on our local dues paying members. If we reach our goal of "100 Anchors Strong", we could be the 3rd largest member of BRAP in addition to bringing you even better programming, having more foundation events and supporting our local collegiate chapter.
Additionally, we will have special recognition and opportunities for the ladies who join our "Golden Anchor Circle" with a contribution of at least $100 in local dues. Help us reach our goals!
Cookie Meet & Greet with the Gamma Zetas
As a way to support our local collegiate chapter, alumnae will be providing milk & cookies for the girls at the Gamma Zeta house their first day of recruitment taking place Sunday, August 16th at 7:00 pm. If you are interested in attending the meet and greet and baking 3 to 4 dozen cookies for the girls, please email us. If you would like to bake cookies, but cannot make it to the house to help serve them Sunday night, we can arrange a pick-up.

Saturday, August 15th Skit Preview - Alumnae Private Viewing
Join us for Skit Preview and "Anchor Hour" on Saturday, August 15th. We will be having an alumnae private viewing of the 2015 Gamma Zeta Recruitment Skit starting at 3:30pm at the Gamma Zeta house followed by “anchor hour” at 5pm at Superior Grill. Please arrive at the house between 3:00-3:15 as the show will start promptly at 3:30pm. We would love to see our Delta Gamma Legacies attend this special performance! Please remember that incoming LSU freshman participating in recruitment are not permitted to attend this preview as they will have their chance during formal recruitment.
Saturday, August 22nd: Bid Day
All alumnae are invited to attend the 2015 Bid Day on Saturday, August 22nd at the Gamma Zeta house on LSU's campus at 3:00 pm. Please be advised that parking is extremely limited due to high volumes of traffic that day and construction at the University Recreation Center.
Friday, October 16th: Fall Kickoff Party
Save the date! We will be hosting our second annual fall kickoff party the eve before the LSU v. Florida game on Friday, October 16th from 8 to 10 pm at the Pelican House. More details to come.
Do Good Week
Let’s come together to put DO GOOD in the world. During the week of September 13th to 19th, Delta Gamma Fraternity invites us to participate in our annual “Do Good” Week by doing good deeds in our community. We will be setting up events for Do Good Week. More details to come soon.
Calling Decade Captains
We have over 650 local Delta Gamma alumnae living in our area. We would like everyone to feel like they are getting the most out of the alumnae group and a personal experience. We think decade captains would help us reach this goal. We would like one captain to be in charge of the decade of their initiation (i.e., 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s). Please email us if you are interested. We plan on having an informational meeting with our decade captains in September.
"All Greek" Alumnae Event
The Baton Rouge Alumnae Panhellenic will be hosting its first annual "All Greek" alumnae event on Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:00 pm at Blend. Tickets will be $40. The local alumnae of the 26 NPC sororities will be coming together to eat, drink and socialize.
There will be some really great raffle items with all proceeds going toward the BRAP Outstanding Greek Scholarship to be awarded annually to an outstanding LSU sorority member.
