Spring into Summer 2015

Important Clinic Announcements
Many of you have been having a difficult time scheduling appointments with me at Vitality and at my home clinic. Business is booming for me, and I'm so grateful for that! It has all been because of your referrals to friends and family that I am so busy! But at the same time, I'm not able to see many of you more often when you need it.
Right now I am not accepting new patients until September. This is so that I can see my current patient roster. I am keeping a list of those who have not yet made it in, and will contact new patients as space becomes available.

Vacation dates
Also please note that I will be away May 17 - May 25, and June 21 - July 13.
You can still book online at Vitality at vitalitytreatment.ca for July and August.

If you are not able to book online, send me an email, I may have some cancellations that might work with your schedule.
I'm looking into an online booking site for my home business as well, so stay tuned!

Increase in rates
As of August 1, 2015 new rates will be as follows:
New Patient Initial appointment 90 min $125
Follow up appointments
75 min $110
60 min $95
45 min $80

Insurance and MSP
I do accept those with MSP benefits and RMT benefits. Check your insurance plan to find out if you have osteopathic coverage as well. These companies provide coverage for Osteopathy: Pacific blue cross, Empire Life, Great West Life, Manulife, Sunlife, Greenshield, Wawanesa.
If you have a plan with one of these companies, but they do not have Osteopathy, request this to be added to your plan. This will help with the promotion of Osteopathy from the customer side of things.

International Osteopathic Healthcare Week

As a member of Osteopathy BC (the Society for the Promotion of Manual Practice Osteopathy, http://www.osteopathybc.ca/) we celebrated International Osteopathic Healthcare Week April 19th – 25th, 2015. We aim to raise awareness about our profession in order to encourage more people to experience the benefits of osteopathy.
This is an exciting time for osteopathic practitioners because we are part of a growing professional community across the globe. The International Osteopathic Healthcare Week is lead by the Osteopathic International Alliance (OIA http://wp.oialliance.org/), which represents more than 75 organizations from 30 countries on 5 continents and more than 120,000 osteopathic practitioners. Osteopathy BC is honoured to be a part of this worldwide network.

International Osteopathic Healthcare Week 2015 - British Columbia
This is a great introductory video to pass on to friends and family to give them an idea about how osteopathy can help them. To find out more in British Columbia visit our provincial societies website to find a member for your friends and family. Thank you for spreading the word! http://www.osteopathybc.ca/.

Enjoy Summer!
Aloe Selectâ„¢
What Your Body Needs:

Scientists attribute the traditional health benefits of Aloe to naturally-occurring compounds within the plant called polysaccharides. Most Aloe vera products on the market contain ingredients that are not standardized and certified so you have no idea how much (or little) of those powerful polysaccharides you’re getting.

Benefits:
  • Formulated with 100% hand harvested peak Aloe
  • Specially grown and selected to deliver optimized power
  • High in the most beneficial polysaccharides
  • 1 - 980 ml bottle, available at my home clinic
