Located in Eguisheim, in the heart of the Alsace wine region and 5km south of Colmar, the Charles Baur Estate consists of 17 hectares of vines situated on the finest slopes of Eguisheim and its immediate vicinity. Several of their vineyards are Grand Cru namely Brand, Eichberg and Pfersigberg vineyards.
In order to produce great wines, they focus on low volume yields. All of their grapes are harvested and sorted by hand. To ensure high quality, they exclusively produce wines with the grapes from their own vineyards.
The family produces the whole range of Alsace wines and a large variety of Grands Crus and Crémants d’Alsace. They also produce "Eaux de Vie" with the fruit from their our own orchards.
We are delighted to welcome Arnaud Baur who along with his father, Armand have become one of the flagbearers in the region. The Alsace region still offers the finest value wines in the whole of France (some would say the world!) and we are sure you will agree.
