1. Get Some Sleep! 8 hours of sleep each night is essential for repair, detoxification, healthy weight, balanced blood pressure and strong immunity!
2. Skip Trans Fats! Anything hydrogenated or deep-fried can increase your risk of heart disease, obesity and inflammation. Stick with healthy fats, like avocado, olive oil, coconut, nuts, seeds and grass-fed products!
3. Out With Refined Foods! White sugar, white flour and other processed and refined foods lack vitamins, minerals and fibre! These foods can raise your blood sugar, increase weight gain, and can contribute to diabetes and inflammation. Shoot for 80% whole, unprocessed and organic foods!
4. Support Your Prostate! Opt for vitamin rich foods - especially those rich in lycopene and carotenoids, like tomatoes, cauliflower, and broccoli - as well as pumpkin seeds, vitamin D3 and saw palmetto.
5. Hit the Gym! Make exercise a daily part of your routine. Weight training tones and strengthens, uplifting your mood, keeping the heart healthy and lowering your risk of diabetes.
