It was a privilege to share Christ in the Passover and answers questions by 5th graders and parents at Providence Christian Academy. To help them make Jewish-Jesus connections and Passover-Salvation connections was a real blessing!

Doe River Gorge is a Christian Adventure Camp ministry located about an hour from our home. I’ll be speaking 4 separate days to 4 groups of 30-40 fourteen to eighteen year old young people. Please pray God would do exceedingly above all I could hope or imagine during those times - for HIS glory!

Ministry Minute - our Monthly Update

Purim is the Jewish holiday commemorating the deliverance of the Jewish people from Haman’s wicked plot to exterminate the Jewish people during the reign of the Persian King Ahasuerus.

If you haven’t read the biblical narrative in a while, turn to the book of Esther and be encouraged.

Esther, a common Jewish girl, through a series of events, rises from anonymity to become Queen of Persia. It turns out, she is the last and only hope in changing the grisly outcome to Haman’s evil intent.

Esther was strategically placed in the court of King Ahasuerus so at just the right time she could bring a word aptly spoken - a word that changed the immediate destiny of her people.

As Esther served as a type of ambassador, representing her Jewish people before the King, you and I are ambassadors of the King of Kings, Jesus. For He has strategically placed each one of us in a unique sphere of influence to bring words of life to those who’ve not yet personally met the King, the Lord Jesus:

“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:20)

And just as Esther pleaded to King Ahasuerus for a change of heart - imploring him to reverse the decree of death placed upon the Jewish people, we plead with others for a change of heart - that they would turn from rejecting Jesus to receiving Him.

Whether you are traveling this summer, or staying at home, you are being placed strategically by the Lord to impact your sphere of influence, whether the location is familiar (hometown) or special (traveling). You will have unique touch points, access to people, and opportunities as you go through your days.

So redeem the time, seek the Lord, striving to be aware of those opportunities He provides, being the ambassador He desires you to be…for such a time as this!

We’ll be hosting our Jewish Roots of Christianity Seminar (Saturday, June 6) and Personal Evangelism Primer (Saturday, June 13) at Summit Leadership Foundation in Johnson City. These one-day seminars will strengthen your understanding of the gospel, gird up you witness and help you more effectively live out the Great Commission. Praise and Thanksgiving

We thank God for our Board of Directors and for you, our constituents, who bless us richly and help make it possible for us to do all God’s called us to in ministry.

Thank God with us for ministry opportunities He has recently provided (prison ministry, teaching at Providence Academy) and is providing this summer (teaching at Doe River Gorge and ministry trip to Honduras).

Thank God with us for the gift of prayer, as we are blessed with the privilege of praying for the salvation of people and for the witness of the church.

Prayer Requests

Please pray with us for fruitful ministry at Doe River Gorge this summer; that God would prepare each young person who’ll attend my 2 hour sessions to receive all He has for them; and that God would work through me mightily for His Glory.

Please pray with us for safe travels and fruitful ministry in my Honduras mission trip June 23-30 as I speak on radio and tv, in churches and do evangelism.

Please pray with us that God would provide the financial needs of the ministry through the summer.

Larry will be serving in Honduras June 23-30, ministering alongside Dr. Kenneth Hill, friend & general manager of WHCB 91.5 FM. This tremendous outreach opportunity will include some radio/television presentations, evangelism opportunities at public schools, street ministry at major thoroughfares, and church meetings. Please pray for safe travels, open doors to share the gospel, and for effective ministry as we work alongside local pastors.

Our group of around 30 people enjoyed a wonderful time of food, fellowship, worship, and prayer during our first-ever prayer breakfast on May 16. Lox, bagels, egg creams, and other goodies were part of the breakfast spread. Following breakfast, we gathered for a powerful time of worship and prayer, lifting up to the throne of grace the witness of the Church, the salvation of the lost, and the work of Larry Stamm Ministries.
