Rep. Robideaux's bill (HB 829) was heard in the Senate Revenue & Fiscal Affairs Committee Monday. The legislation was reported favorably (without amendments), and it will now move to the Senate Finance Committee for an additional hearing (then to the Senate Floor for a vote). The hearing has not yet been scheduled. Please reach out to your Senator with a positive message about how important the industry is to you and your community.
