The General Dental Council (GDC) has confirmed that ‘safeguarding children and young people’ and ‘safeguarding vulnerable adults’ are to be included as recommended CPD topics for dental professionals.

To help you these courses are available to both members as part of their annual subscription and as pay as you go bundles.

Top Education Courses

Safeguarding and Child Protection (level 2)

Successful completion of this learning bundle gives Level 2 Child Protection (valid for 2 years)

Safegarding Vulnerable Adults

Successful completion of this course will satisfy the requirements of the GDC and CQC in this area

Radiography & Radiation Protection (IRMER)

Online course to satisfy the ionising radiation regulations (IRMER) and IRR99 for continuing education in radiation protection.

Disinfection and Decontamination

The GDC states that all dentists, nurses, hygienists, therapists and technicians have to complete 5 hours of verifiable CPD per CPD cycle in disinfection and decontamination.

Detecting Oral Cancer
