ECN Answers

Q: I heard Georgia Tech has tables and chairs that are available for free. Is that true?

A: Free tables and chairs are available to students, during normal working hours (approximately 7:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m.), through the Staging department in Facilities. Tables and chairs are also available to faculty and staff; however, Staging charges a delivery and pick-up fee. The hourly rate per person is $33.22 during normal working hours. Currently, six-foot tables and gray folding chairs are available. Staging also provides services such as office moves, forklift needs, moving large equipment from buildings, large deliveries, and loading dock cleaning.
