Don't Forget: LAST CHANCE IN SANTA CLARITA TO ADVOCATE AGAINST HIGH SPEED RAIL DEVASTATING OUR COMMUNITY!Tell the High-Speed Rail Authority at the Community Meeting on June 1!Santa Clarita Activities Center, 5pm The California High-Speed Rail Authority is now conducting community meetings providing current information on the alternatives under consideration along the Palmdale to Burbank project section. This is one of the last opportunities to advocate directly to the High-Speed Rail Authority regarding our desire for appropriate and technically feasible fully underground alignments that will not negatively impact communities or neighborhoods to be included in the environmental review phase. The Santa Clarita meeting will take place Monday, June 1, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. at the Santa Clarita Activities Center (20880 Centre Pointe Parkway). On Monday, April 27, 1,500 community members packed the Canyon High School Gymnasium to hear about the California High-Speed Rail project, provide their feedback and sign a petition in support of appropriate, fully underground alignments to be included for environmental review. |
