Stanford GSB Holds Salon June 27
Stanford's Graduate School of Business (GSB), an SCPKU Anchor Program, will host a salon, "Challenges and Opportunities of Innovation," at SCPKU on Saturday, June 27 at 9 am. GSB Professor Yossi Feinberg, Professor Dongming Chen, Dean of Peking University's School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Frank Hawke, GSB China Director, will discuss innovation and entrepreneurship in China's large corporations and start-ups. SCPKU Welcomes Digital Health Boot Campers
SCPKU is hosting Stanford Professor Robert Chang's graduate seminar "China Digital Health Boot Camp" June 21-July 8. Eight Stanford students with programming, design and business skills will work alongside Chinese university students in teams to develop digital health prototypes and business plans. Read more.

Experts Put New Spin on Spintronics
Stanford Professor and SCPKU Faculty Fellow Shan Wang led a spintronics and magnetic sensing workshop at the center on May 11. Sponsored by SCPKU, Tsinghua University and IEEE's Magnetics Society, the workshop brought together world-renowned experts in spintronics, magnetic sensing, and multiferroics from the U.S., Europe, Japan, South Korea and China and attracted over 60 participants from around the globe. The workshop also featured special guests from the U.S. National Science Foundation to discuss international collaborations on scientific research and funding for science.

CSDGC Convenes Annual Partner Meeting
The Stanford Center for Sustainable Development and Global Competitiveness (CSDGC), an SCPKU Anchor Program, held its 2015 Annual Partner Meeting on May 16 at SCPKU. The meeting focused on innovation-driven sustainable industrial development. Participants included CSDGC Affiliate companies, representatives from collaborating universities, and visiting scholars.
