Volunteers are extremely important to Better Days! If you are interested in helping Better Days by providing support for resident care, facilities maintenance, our thrift stores or fundraising, please visit the volunteer section of the website. This month, meet Kathy & Larry!
"The couple that volunteers together, stays together!" That must be Kathy and Larry's motto, and everyone at BDAL is grateful for their dedication in being part of our reliable kitty care crew for several years. Together they dedicate one day every week to clean the cattery and care for our feline friends waiting for adoption into fur-ever homes! As Kathy is tending to the litter boxes, Larry keeps the floors spick and span with his steadfast mop regimen he must have acquired while serving in the military! (We would also like to thank Larry for his service!) Our 4-legged residents are then delighted to enjoy a special meal of canned food served up especially for them! Because BDAL does not euthanize for space, animal caregivers are always needed on weekdays, for both cats and dogs, so Kathy and Larry have graciously donated their time one morning to the homeless kitties in need of their care. Maybe there's someone you'd like to team up with to volunteer, will you be our next "dynamic duo"?! Better Days thanks Kathy & Larry for their years of committed volunteer service!
