How time flies! Susie and I are celebrating 2 years at A.A.Blatch and recently we took the plunge and bought the business from my parents Warren and Nancye. We wouldn't have made this daunting step if it wasn't for the huge support we've received from our farming and industrial customers around the Central West and I wish to say a big thank you for supporting our 63 year old, now third-generation business. Here's to the next 63 years!
In this newsletter, we're pretty excited about our fantastic new LED torches which you'll see below. Also, the historical insults continue in our Old Jokes Home section and we show you a video of some NTN bearings in the toughest of industrial conditions.

Housing Market Update
Keeping bearings as safe as houses.

Last month we looked at some different styles of bearing housings. We've just received 2 large "SNG" plummer block style housings which completely encase a bearing such as a spherical roller bearing, like the one pictured. As you can see this housing splits into two to make assembly simpler in areas such as a mine or crushing site. You can also see the rubber seal inside the hole in the housing. This seals on the shaft and protects the bearing inside from contaminates.

Spacely Sprockets

OK, so our sprockets may not be made by George Jetson at Spacely Sprockets, but they are the highest quality sprockets you can get. We have hundreds of sprockets on our shelves which come complete with flame-hardened teeth, a process which increases strength and life-span multiple times over.
We supply sprockets in 1/2" pitch, 5/8", 3/4" and 1" chain pitch in single, duplex and triplex style. You can get them with a through bore or with a taperlock bush. Together with Tsubaki Chain- the World's number 1 chain, our sprockets and chain really are out of this World! For simply superior sprockets, you better call Blatch's.

Not every product can be mindblowing, but some products are simple, inexpensive and make life easier. Our deep-dish 'mud mats' are designed for farms and 4WD fanatics. They are deep moulded rubber mats which will collect everything your boots throw at them, protecting your vehicle. Then, either just tip them out if it's dry, or hose them out if it's muddy.
