MAJA ARO  ...

Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A: The kid inside me that hasn't grown up yet jumps for joy everyday! So that little girl that hasn't been told what she can't do yet, and every other little girl that she represents is what inspires me to jump for joy.

Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
A:
I felt elated, pretty, and badass all at once. Such a joy, couldn't help but smile.

Q: What inspires you in life?

A: Mountains. I love them. I love climbing them, and most of my favourite sports I do on mountains. I love looking at them and how they support so much life. My last name is even mountain inspired, my husband and I got engaged on the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, so we took the last three letters as our last name. Aro also means powerful and complete.

Q: Your greatest passion?
A: Horses, biking, skiing, climbing mountains, sewing gardening and writing. Anything active outdoors really, and a few creative things. Being outdoors getting sweaty just makes me feel alive. I am passionate about things that are both a physical and mental challenge, I need the balance of both.

Q: Your driving force?
A:
My driving force is to constantly be better, to be always learning, growing and treating each situation in life with compassion. I imagine myself as a little warrior having to survive so I always like to have a challenge/task/goal to be working towards, that constantly drives me to be a better person.

Q: Philosophy?
A:
Simple happy. everyone is equal and should be treated as so.

Q: Anything in the world?
A:
I am currently doing exactly what I want to be doing. I am a Stuntwoman by trade, and currently developing film projects and a graphic novel, and married to an amazing supportive man. I absolutely love my day job, and my passion projects are all in places I want them to be. I am going to keep on the path I'm currently on as everything I'm doing brings me a lot of joy.

Q: Working on?
A:
I am currently a new ambassador for
Bullies Keep Out an amazing organization based out of New York.

Personally I am working on a feature film project and a graphic novel this year, both of which I am very proud of. More about those will be on my twitter very soon ;)

Mini Bio:

I was just recently awarded the Stunt Warrior Award from the Artemis film festival celebrating my achievements as a Stuntwoman. I'd love to give them a huge shout out for successfully pulling off their first festival.
