Annual Troop Reports Due

All troop leaders should have received an email with a link to the Annual Troop Leader Review Online Survey www.surveymonkey.com/s/TroopLeaderReview and an Annual Financial Report. All troops are required to submit an Annual Financial Report listing all income and expenses for the troop. This report must be submitted to the council with a copy of your May troop bank statement by June 15th. You should also share the Annual Financial Report with the girls and adults in your troop.

Troop Trips

Don't forget, if your troop is planning an overnight trip this summer or fall, you need to get permission from the council first by turning in a Troop Trip application. You must turn in your final roster at least 10 days prior to leaving on your trip. Be sure you check Safety Activity Check Points. Also, remember every adult going on the trip must be registered and must have completed a Criminal Background Check. Currently it takes 5 to 10 days for a Criminal Background check to process, so don't wait until the last minute to have your adults go online and submit their Background Checks.

Safety First

Remember when planning any activity, check Safety Activity Checkpoint first to be sure you are being safe with your girls. Planning a troop activity that includes, paddle boats, kayaking or horseback riding? Remember all High Risk activities, even if there is no overnight stay involved, must be pre-approved by the council. So check your Safety Activity Checkpoints and then if your event requires council approval - submit a Troop High Risk application. If you have any questions, contact the council 800-582-7272.
