Soo! The Czech and European Yoga Sport Cup 2015 is over...
Big emotions, big nerves and big fun...
May 15, at 15:00 the main part of the event began - European Yoga Sport Cup 2015. European yogis competed in senior, junior and main categories.
Representative of Czech Republic took great second place in female main category. Siluet YOGA WEAR team was there as proud sponsor of the event and during all the day present with the marketing stand and meeting loyal and new clients.
Our Eva Sil was there to promote Bikram Yoga and SYW and to congratulate to winners of junior category.
Presenter of the event - Hana Koutná wore beautiful red lace leotard and she was amazing!

The championship began with Siluet YOGA WEAR fashion show. And models/dancers led by Qaša for the very first time shew up new limited summer collection... it is called YOLO and it is not only about sports wear... just wait to know it all...

Coming home
All is gone and I'm arriving from LA to Prague... Until that moment I haven't realized that I could stand on the podium and forward what I have learnt... When coming back home and thinking about it all, I thought that without teaching from podium it could have no sense and that I could throw away all the efforts and hard work... Thanks to Tereza (owner of BY Prague studio) I was thrown to reality and 5 days after arriving to Prague I teached my first lesson... Mad by fears, supported by clients, we all survived and it was there - me as teacher...
After few days I teached lesson in Czech language and it was even more difficult, becase you don't expect that teaching in your mother language could not be simple and easy... I repeated dialogue again and again... In the car, at home, for myself at streets, I must have looked like a mad girl... I slowly started to feel confident but until now I still put lot of humility and respect into teaching... Every lesson is different, different clients, different mood and that is why it is fulfilling and interesting after more than 700 taught lessons...
I do enjoy helping people with overcoming their limits, pains, fears... I leave litres of sweat on the podium but much more of myself and my clients give me back so much energy...
"Teaching yoga is not a business... It is a privilege."

Summer is calling, I love summer... I love spending time in nature, enjoying summer goodnesses that can be so delicious and fresh... I try to find new combinations for summer foodstuffs, for example cucumber and elderflower lemonade...

Czech magazine "Woman&Life" published an interview with Eva Plzáková "Sil" about life balance - balance of enjoying life, work and beauty care...
A little for you in English:
"What is secret of your beautiful body shapes? Sport? Food? Genetics?
Genetics helps you only partly, then it is upon us. It is very true that our look in youth age is given to us by nature, then as we get older - it is upon us. I practise Bikram Yoga, during summer I ride bicycle and I'm not lazy, I use stairs, not elevators, I do crunches while watching TV. I choose only food of high quality and freshness but I do avoid of extremes. I consider extremes dangerous in everything."

You all know Zuzana from our campaigns... She is beautiful, elegant, hard-working woman... Finally we will tell you more about her story.

ZUZANA DRAPALÍKOVÁ
Zuzana graduated at Dance Academy at 2007. Right after her first season as professional dancer she became solist of State Opera House Prague where she performed many beautiful parts. For example Odetta/Odille at Swan Lake or beloved and dreamed part of Giselle. In 2011 she was nominated for Thalia Award.

A year after Czech government decided to cancel balet group of State Opera House Prague. Zuzana was happy to be chosen to be able to join for 2 years Balet group of Czech National Theather as demi-solist. Right after a few months she felt disappointments. New group was much more bigger and Zuzana started to feel like a worker in factory, not as an artist. Her work was not fulfilling her, dance was not more a pleasure...
Childhood dream seemed to be at the end and she was waiting for a new one.
And then Bikram Yoga arrived to her life. It was love at first sweat. At first, Bikram Yoga healed her back full of pain... and then... her soul... She decided to change her life and leave the theather. She have wanted to forward to others all the great things that Bikram Yoga have been giving to her. That great feeling after each class, healed body and peace of mind.
Last autumn she left for Thailand for Bikram Yoga Teacher Training and her new dream came true, she became BY teacher. Actually, she teaches in Bikram Yoga Prague studios and still dances, but just for fun.
Zuzana is another strong woman, that was not afraid to make dreams come true. Zuzana is beautiful, great yogi (third at Czech Yoga Sport Cup 2015, participated at European Yoga Sport Cup 2015) and still working to be better and best. Red velvet cake
Why do I prepare it??? Because I discovered it in USA and it is a bit of nostalgy for me.
Upon history books it was prepared in 1920' in New York, in Waldorf Astoria hotel... Red colour should originate as reaction of vinegar and buttermilk but for very nice red colour the food coloring is used.. You can also put beetroot to dough.
Ingredients:
300gr baking flour, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 15gr of cocoa powder, 150ml of oil, 2 eggs, 150gr of dark sugar, 2 teaspoons of vanilla aroma, 200ml buttermilk or big yoghurt, 2 teaspoons of strawberry food coloring melted in water
Process:
Mix all powder ingredients, in another bowl mix eggs with sugar, add oil, buttermilk, melted food coloring and vanilla aroma.
Slowly add powder mix.. Put to greased and sprinkled baking form. Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Test if the dough is not sticky. Let it cool.
Filling:
1 package of mascarpone, 2x cream of 250 ml, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, lemon juice, teaspoon of vanilla aroma
Process:
Whip cream, in another bowl mix mascarpone with sugar and lemon juice, gently and slowly mix together. Cooled baked cake cut in the middle for 2 parts, flatten and extra cutted pieces put to little bowl. Minor part of filling use to unit 2 parts of cake, the rest put all over the cake from top and from sides. Crumble extra cutted pieces and put them to the top of the cake.
