Ticket Alert, Programme Update, More Info

Summer Greetings! Finally the mercury is rising and summer had decided to say hello up here in Scotland - delightful! It's also a very good day as our local Council has now granted our license and it's all systems go for The Kelburn Garden Party 2015. Our license has allowed us to up the capacity slightly this year, and as a result we can tell you that there are just over 300 tickets left at the time of writing. Boom!

We're also writing with more info on our full daily music line-upThe Neverending Glen, the Kelburn bus and food & drink at the festival. Please do read on.

A-Z of Music at Kelburn

Once again we are tremendously proud of the musical menu we present to you. By turns experimental, leftfield and accessible, it's a smorgasbord that mixes up the best Scottish underground talent (Optimo, Auntie Flo, Hector Bizerk, Miaoux Miaoux, Mungo's Hi-Fi, Loki, Dallahan, Jazz Spastiks to name a few), with well chosen international talent (Soil & "Pimp" Sessions, Nightmares on Wax, DJ Vadim, Romare, Ulrich Schnauss) and a selection of the most entertaining acts bubbling through the European festival circuit (Gentleman's Dub Club, Afriquoi, Rozi Plain, 47soul, Chainska, Jenova Collective, MC Xander). It's a programme utterly unique to Kelburn, and one that we think you are going to love.

Aside from the "main stages" we have been busy building relationships in recent years with Scotland's best and most creative young collectives in order to push the boundaries of achievement at Kelburn. We take full advantage of the unique mix of enthusiastic talent that descend on the festival once a year to create a kind of non-stop magic - where anything seems possible. So groups like The Too Much Fun Club, Edinburgh Palette, Ideal Mexico, Tinderbox Orchestra, Chapel Perilous, We Are Tall Order, Decagram and many more will be busy collaborating with us this year with new and unpredictable results!

FULL LINE-UP AND ARTISTS PROFILES

The Neverending Glen & Other Treats

Our new interctive arts project, The Neverending Glen shapes and draws the contours of an enhanced visual and creative experience, for artists and audiences alike. Take a walk and discover of a pop-up gallery or restaurant for two in the forest, the musical wonders of Half a Piano Cube in the walled garden or a giant Roland 909 drum machine, to pop-up gigs and secret parties, to the meditative walks and workshops organised along the numerous paths of the Glen – the aim is always the same: to unlock a new state of mind towards the arts, where through playfulness, something unexpected, engaging and surprising can happen. The glen will even have it's own bus service!

Away from the Glen you will be able to enjoy many other treats this year, including our ever popular Secret Forest "living theatre" Project, and a new specially-curated cabaret and circus programme, Nurea Nights, featuring a bewildering array of spoken word, theatre, dance, magic, music and more. Elsewhere, there will be a huge array of hidden entertainment and attractions of offer - all you need to do is explore.

We are also hosting a very special afterparty on the Monday afternoon after the festival is over - a Magical Monday Mystery Cruise! We're not saying too much more - but it will involve a sea-going vessel, actual cruising, music and beer!
