Hi there,
It looks like summer's in the air, doesn't it?
Here is a quintessential summary of what's new and what the plans for the summer are.
THE BIGGEST NEWS is that our new multilingual website is finally UP!
This means it has become possible to read about EnglishLab.Net in English and in Russian
(feel free to reply to this email and suggest what kind of information should be added and what questions should be answered or clarified - we'll be working on the key contents all summer)
We have also managed to explain how everything works in our school in 3 easy steps:
OUR English-Russian Facebook blog, the ELN Language Gym, has continued to develop.
In addition to what we posted in May, there have appeared a few new posts, namely
1. How to say "I walk to work to work at work. To work - I walk. At work - I work" really fast and in a near native-speaker way.
2. How to sign emails or what is wrong with "Regards, "
3. One of our subscribers suggested that we should publish some useful English phrases with their Russian translations. This sounds like a fun thing to do, but we need your help! Here are the first two phrases

Please respond to this email with your examples of Russian phrases OR English sentences that you have trouble translating or comprehending. We'll try to include as many of them in our ELN Language Gym blog posts as we can.

If you have any questions about learning English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, self-study techniques or strategies, ways of developing either of the four skills (reading, listening, speaking or writing) or ways of translating anything from English into Russian or backwards, please ask them by replying to this email, and we'll be happy to answer them in our blog posts.
NEXT, if you really hate reading about all things translatable, especially English-Russian ones, and would like to receive only those newsletters that are in English about English, please respond to this email with "no translation into Russian or any other language please", and never again will we send you any issues of this newsletter that should mention Russian or any other language that we plan to translate our website into, or contain any digests of our ELN GYM blog posts. You can also click on the unsubscribe link below. The last thing we want is to clutter your inbox with unwanted messages.
FINALLY, we'd appreciate it if you spread the word about our free experimental online English lessons - we are looking for all kinds of volunteers, namely younger and older ones, males and females, grown-ups and youngsters, beginners, intermediate and advanced learners of English. The more people sign up, the easier it will be to form SIGs (special interest groups). Read more in Russian and in English.
