This last month has been a whirr of events and market opportunities for Shiralee Stitches. It has been a joy to catch up with many friends in stitching that I have made during the journey so far with my business. I keep pinching myself just to make sure I'm not dreaming lately. So, thankyou to all my customers and friends for the support you lend to my little store, both in-the-real and on-line.............I feel truly blessed.

And now ......drum roll please........(many of you will have been thinking I'm dragging my chain..lol).....it's here now...
...............Lucy Boston Block 8.........

I have created this block from the beautiful new range in store, Millbook 1892, the latest Collections for a Cause range by Moda.....simply gorgeous I think.

As usual the block with fabric, papers and photos is
$12,

and type 'Block 8' in the coupon code to get FREE SHIPPING.

Order Block 8
Some beautiful fabric jumped out of a few boxes last month......check this out.....

Millbook 1892 the latest Collections for a Cause range by Moda. Proceeds benefitting the Texas Quilt Museum.

I couldn't pick and choose this time, I was sooo much in love I had to have the whole range!!

I have cut some Petite Packs, these are my signature packs of 3" x 21" cuts... $39
For paper piecing, we want variety but in smaller quantities. These packs offer that in a great 3" wide strip which suits most needs for template cutting. I sell lots of these packs and receive lots of positive feedback about them.
And...more lovely Eye Candy...lol.....
I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this boxful........
Dutch Heritage - Tree of Life
Panel and co-ordinating fabrics

These are so much nicer in the real too and have been flying off the stall at last week's Beef Week craft market. Still some left ............you can grab yours here. I don't think they'll last long.

I intend to create a wall hanging with mine, but the panel would look lovely in the middle of a quilt.
I am busy preparing for a craft fair at Lennox Head next weekend (13th) at the Community Centre. This is a fundraiser for the Ballina Hospital Auxiliary.........please pop over and say hi if you're nearby. This is my first time at this event but apparently it's quite a big affair and they had 500 plus people through the doors last year so it might be worth a visit.

I hope you're having a lovely long weekend....I have my Dad visiting from Brisbane which is lovely.....in fact he has just delivered some more of his lovely handcrafted wooden spool holders.....you can check them out here.......very popular to use with the Bottomline thread, and the magnet is great for holding onto your needle.......

Hope you enjoy some sewing time over the weekend...........

Sandy
