- Monday Jun 8 - Town Hall on School Safety - Maplewood Middle School at 7 PM. Recent incidents at the High School and Maplewood Middle School have understandably raised concerns about how to keep our children safe both in our school and our community. We invite parents to join the administration, board members and municipal offices to discuss ways to protect our children. For more info, click here.

Seth Boyden's Ice Cream Social
Come celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of summer on the Seth Boyden fields and playground on Friday June 12th from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. Pizza, Hot Dogs, Ice Cream Treats, Everything $2. Click here for flier.

School Clothing Drive June 1st- June 12th
Money for our school is in the Bag.
Heads up! We’re participating in a Schoola Clothing Drive and turning outgrown clothes into money for our school.
Clothing Drive will start on June 1st and end on June 12th.
Here’s how it’s gonna go down:
Fill a bag with clothes for children & women. Women’s handbags and shoes get extra smiles. No sleepwear, undies, socks or damaged/stained/altered items. Let’s keep it clean.
Pop the attached label onto the bag to make sure our school gets credit. (Labels were distributed to the students on Monday, June 1st.) Drop the bag off with its new friends at our drop off location, outside the school office.

2015 - 2016 PTA Open Positions
One thing we all want to teach our Seth Boyden students is PREPARATION, right? Let's model that behavior by getting prepared for 2015-2016 now.
How? Make a commitment to our PTA for the upcoming school year.
All those marvelous 5th grade families are moving on, so we need fresh blood. (Yes, we're looking at you K-4 moms and dads!) 2015-2016 promises to be an exciting one for our kids and our school, but so much of what makes Seth Boyden great depends on PARENT POWER! The PTA has specific positions for you--check out this list, and find the perfect role you can play in making our school fantastic.

2014-2015 Box Top Goals
We made our goal! So make the other box tops count. There is another eBonus available please enter daily. Please send in or drop off your Box Tops sheets and others into the school office and don’t forget to hand in your unexpired box tops.

SCRIP
You should have received your Just Buy One order form in your child's backup. For every $1 for $1 spent on a gift card from SCRIP a rebate % goes to SB. There are more offers than what is on the sheet and orders are placed almost every other week. So drop off your order in the JBO envelope in the office or send it in with your child. Please label your envelope JUST BUY ONE - SB PTA.

HELP RAISE $10,000 FOR MUSIC EDUCATION!
Join Broadway stars "Charlie Pollock & Friends" at the Woodland in Maplewood Village, along with Stephanie J Block (from Wicked) and Becky Gulsvig (Legally Blonde), as they bring down the house and kick off Summer with a ROCK concert to benefit Music Education.
Where? The Woodland in Maplewood Village
When? June 19th. 6:00 food trucks, 7:00 doors open, 7:30 concert
ALL TICKET SALES GO DIRECTLY TO THE ACHIEVE FOUNDATION's "Vanessa Pollock Music Initiative" which helps do three things: 1) repair/renew the instrument inventory for the whole district, 2) provide scholarships to in-need students to rent orchestra and band instruments, and 3) provide private instruction to talented and in-need music students.
There will be FOOD TRUCKS starting at 6pm (and 10% goes to ACHIEVE!)
There will be a RAFFLE of an iPad, a TV, and a Papermill Subscription (all proceeds go to ACHIEVE!)
