OAIMC joins Mohari Wellness!
|
|
|
After 5 years of providing Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, and Nutritional Counseling to the Oakland Community from our clinic on Pill Hill, we are thrilled to announce that we are expanding into a larger space at 9 Grand Ave! Currently we are under construction and open to existing clients only. Midsummer 2015 we will be open to the general public.
At our new facility we are offering the same services and more with many improvements. By joining forces with Mohari Wellness, OAIMC will benefit from new management and intern support to enhance our client experience. Also, we have transitioned to a new online management platform to better streamline patient records, communications, and scheduling. We have expanded our therapy services to include psycological counseling, dance therapy, with more to come.
Additionally, we are offering fitness classes including: Yoga, Acro Yoga, Aerial Yoga, TRX, Samba Dance, Tai Chi and other forms of suspension training. Also, we are offering non-traditional wellness courses such as "know your rights" legal sessions, eating with the seasons courses, and herbal medicine internships for local high school students.

Mohari Yoga at Lake Merritt
As a precursor to the Summer 2015 launch of Mohari Wellness, we are offering donation-based yoga classes around Lake Merritt during the month of June. Please Join us this Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 6:00pm for a one hour donation-based yoga class at the Lake Merritt Amphitheater.
Yoga will be followed by a complimentary kombucha tasting. Please bring a yoga mat (or towel) and a mug.
