Join us in Melbourne on Friday 19th June from 6pm for the opening of our Mid Century Modern Mixed show, which we are running in co-curated with Gallery Midlandia in Collingwood (visit the Gallery Midlandia website here).

The show encompasses an eclectic range of both original art from the period as well as contemporary works inspired by mid century art and design. Included in the exhibit and for sale will be original architectural renderings from the 1950s and 60s, abstract and stylised mid century original paintings from Sweden and Denmark (courtesy of Gallery Midlandia), illustrations from the era including select originals and futuristic Syd Mead lithographs from the early 1960s, as well as inspired contemporary works from Shag, Chris Turnham and others.

It’s been a long time coming, but Outré Gallery is proud to be popping up in Brisbane city for a limited time – bringing a plethora of Outre-favourite artworks for new and old visitors at our opening exhibition NXNO (North by North Outré).

All of the gallery’s much loved artists will be represented (think pop surrealist powerhouses, mid-century masters and swinging tiki specialists)...plus a whole lot of  hard-to-find books, magazines, curios and much more - specially curated for discerning Queensland collectors!

Along with prints, the pop-up will also have a selection of original artworks by artists such Shag, Coop, The Pizz, Derek Yaniger, APAK (to name a few) - don't miss out on a once in a lifetime chance to own an original by your favourite artist...
