Pinhole artist Jenny Tomlin will be making pinhole cameras from recycled materials, processing and displaying the images at the Barrel Store. The space will be transformed with lots of cameras, a pop-up exhibition, a portable darkroom and walk-in camera obscura.

Coming up in the July holidays we have another great collection of classes for children, and are excited to be able to offer animation, audio production, stencil art and spoken word workshops for teenagers. Meanwhile for the adults we've got oil painting, printing, ceramics, web design and much much more.

The Night Garden is where sound and light come out to play under the Matariki stars! Featuring some of Aotearoa's hottest music talent, this year two headlining music acts from Wellington take centre stage.
Tunes of I - Or TOI as they are often known - will take audiences on a musical festive journey with their fantastic blend of roots, reggae, dub, and psychedelic rock sound, this fantastic seven piece band with their pumping brass section and phat beats should not be missed. Joining them also is Matiu te Huki, a unique talent with his soulful style and loop pedal arranging, as well as loca a & the Mahichian, and Massey High School's Hayden Te Haara.
There will be a licensed Bar, Matariki kai, and a coffee guru cafe and chai lounge
