The winning team/product of the first IDEATE IL run - the Cheftastic application idea pitch for gamifying cooking learning (especially) for beginners.

The student teams' ideas went through many iterations and refinements both before/after and especially during the mobilities in Gorica and Manchester.

The diverse Teacher Training group came from all faculties of University of Nova Gorica: applied physics, environment specialists, designer, film editor, etc. The group expressed high usefulness of the training.

Students’ Attitudes Changed

The first edition of the IDEATE Intensive Learning course saw a truly mixed group – 7 female, 9 male, ranging from 1st year Undergraduate studies, through to final year BA and Masters. They came from various disciplines – Arts, IT, Bio-tech sciences, Law and Business.

After the very intensive 8 weeks students reported a steep learning curve especially on the importance of interdisciplinarity in an intercultural course setting. They increasingly agree that being an entrepreneur would give them a great satisfaction, while the teachers notably improved their readiness to leap into uncertainty. This is similar to what the students experienced and what the whole group agreed to be a crucial trait of entrepreneurial behavior: please read some more TEXTUAL IMPRESSIONS and and browse through the VIDEO STATEMENTS FROM SEVERAL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS.

Teacher Trainings in Vilnius and Gorica

The IDEATE Intensive Teacher Training is designed as a practical set of tools and interactive methods to support entrepreneurship education from the perspective of a transversal competence to be available and taught as a theme -- rather than a separate subject at all levels of education. The practical two-day workshop focuses on interactive teaching methods and the understanding of entrepreneurship education culture that enable students to turn ideas into action, as well as examines best practices in providing novel learning experiences. >> More
