"We asked my teacher and principal if we could tell people about our trip and ask for clothes, pencils, candies and other needed supplies. They both agreed, so an email was sent out to all the parents in the weekly email newsletter, and Mrs. Haynes asked me to get up in front of the class and tell about my trip. I told them when, why, and where we are going, and that God loves us all and that He forgives us for our sins. I said we’d be doing a medical clinic there, and my teacher put up a poster for all the supplies you could bring. The pile is already growing large! In our trip, we are helping the people of Uganda have a better life and continue to have a great life with God and to have their needs be answered. It means a lot to me because I want to be part of the people who help God and even though I can’t help all of them,
I can at least help some of them."

"I have been preparing for the medical clinic we will be running this year. I am collecting supplies and have received 100 kits for kids bags (basic medical supply kits) to hand out to the surrounding village. I will get to work in the clinic for 3 days and will be staying in Jinja for an extra 2 weeks with my mom and Nicole Stewart. I feel God leading me towards running a clinic in Uganda eventually, and this trip is giving me the chance to show Gods love for even those who may feel forgotten,
and to pursue my dream."

"I have had the privilege of helping in many different areas leading up to this trip. Whether it be preparing sponsor bags, loading cars full of donations, aiding in medical packing, or fundraising for my own individual trip and team project. While I am in Uganda, I will tag along with the team for the two weeks they are there, spend two weeks with Jaynee and Claire Hodgkins, and spend two more weeks by myself. The four weeks without the team will be spent with the children at our orphan homes and schools, loving them, playing with them, caring for them, and living beside them. I will sit in on classes, have the children paint some walls in the homes, and perform administrative tasks for our ministry. Since my first trip in 2005, my heart has been captured by this culture and joy. I am thrilled the Lord has given me this opportunity to spend an extended amount of time in my second home and look forward to future years of ministry in Uganda."

Nkonya Project Update
The children's dormitory in Nkonya, that our 2015 Team has raised money to build, has been started! The foundation has been laid and our team will be helping with walls when we get there. Thank you to all who donated to this project!
