This weekend, Cadence Youth Cycling students from North and West Philadelphia will be riding the Bicycling Open, but before that happens, several international racing teams will be touring different parts of the city and meeting with Cadence Youth Cycling’s students. Below, please find a schedule of the teams’ and all stars’ events with several international teams and cyclists. We invite your coverage of these events.
Cadence Youth Cycling is the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia’s youth competitive cycling program, teaching high school students about teamwork, perseverance and goal setting through the sport of cycling.

Thursday
4:30 PM at Lemon Hill
CYC teams are meeting Team Airgas-Safeway, USA based development team for under-23 athletes. Cadence Youth Cycling and Team Airgas-Safeway are planning a ride together.
Friday
4:30 PM at the Art Museum Steps
CYC All-Stars are meeting Team Drapac, a Pro Men's Australian team.
Saturday
10:00 AM at the Crowne Royal Plaza Hotel in Bala Cynwyd
Cadence Youth Cycling All-Stars will meet two pro teams:
Caja Rural-Seguros RGA: a Pro Men's team from Spain
Tibco-SVB: a USA-based Pro Women's team
Both teams were connected to CYC by FUJI, CYC’s major supporter.
CYC will hold a Meet-and-Greet and a Training ride with the two teams.
12:30 PM at the Crowne Royal Plaza Hotel in Bala Cynwyd
CYC All-Stars are having a lunch meeting a Pro Men's Danish Team, Trefor-Blue Water
Sunday
All CYC athletes and coaches are riding the Bicycling Open!
Ride begins at 6:45 AM. We should be finished with the ride and relaxing at Lemon Hill by 9:00 AM.
