Honorariums for volunteers:

GP Motocross: We have had a last minute cancellation of our volunteers that do our safety flagging at our local motocross race. Our race is on Sunday June 7 and is for one long day. We pay volunteers $100 each up $2000 as we need 18-20 people over age of 16. Training, lunch, refreshments, and some temporary relief throughout the day as day is long.
Without a volunteer group we cannot hold this race. We have great sponsors and donations and a great group of people that volunteer many hours to put on this race but can't do everything.

Volunteer opportunities for "Stompede parking shifts"

Please click on the following web link (or copy it into your web browser if clicking doesn't work) to go to the signup sheet:
https://www.volunteersignup.org/4BFDE

To sign up, just follow the instructions on the page. It only takes a few seconds to do.   All the information about age requirements, shift lengths, tools supplied etc are on the form description but is as follows:
9 people are required on duty in the quieter times with an additional 6 to support busy times. Teams will work in pairs with one person per shift acting as captain who will co-ordinate shift changes, sending teams to new areas as required and handing out vests and volunteer wristbands. Volunteer wristbands are good for access to the Stompede grounds for the rest of the day if you want to go and enjoy!

You must be 14 and over to volunteer and I request you partner with an adult as you will have to be authorative in requesting people do not park dangerously and maintaining only rows two deep (tow trucks were brought last year to remove a third row blocking people in so you must pay attention.) Some shifts are longer so you are not trying to enter the park at the busiest times. The late shifts to 11pm may end earlier anytime from 9pm onwards at the discretion of the captain and must be adults only. Safety vests, radios and volunteer wristbands are supplied for each person, each shift, and must be passed on to replacements and all are working with All Peace Protection who will be manning the highest traffic intersections, we will be managing parking in rows and handicap access.

Please contact Ainsley Lamontagne for more information
