Having worked for Sarasota School pioneers Victor Lundy and Ralph and William Zimmerman, Smith opened his own private practice in 1961. His passion today involves urban design and community development with its focus on the public realm, but he still enjoys the challenge of designing single family homes. His award-winning projects in Sarasota include Plymouth Harbor, Sandy Cove and Conrad Beach.

The Foundation for the Preservation of Victor Lundy’s South Gate Community House, Inc. invites you to their inaugural event on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm at 3145 South Gate Circle, Sarasota, Florida. The foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides restoration, preservation and maintenance to the historically designated South Gate Community House designed by Victor Lundy in 1956.
