Showcasing the beauty of the human spirit - in mid air - around the world

.....

Our lives are richer when we share, and that great inner joy comes from helping others to better their lives. Truly giving from the heart fills your life with joy and nourishes your soul. Giving provides an intrinsic reward that’s far more valuable than the gift. As Mahatma Gandhi said, “To find yourself, lose yourself in the service of others.” Giving takes you out of yourself and allows you to expand beyond earthly limitations. True joy lies in the act of giving without an expectation of receiving something in return. - Darshan Goswami

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

The fundraiser is still live and accepting pledges!

After the first week the project is 13% funded! Thanks to a couple of very generous contributions. Still a long way to go - I still need to raise $13120 in the next 23 days in order to cover costs for the mural.

If you enjoy this hear felt, joy-filed work and feel inspired to contribute, any amount even $10 or $25 will help get to the goal. I appreciate all the sharing and excitement about the project :) So happy to have all the support. Thank you for your help with this.

Here is the campaign link, if you could share it with people who may like to support and or take part in the mural, please send them the link and encourage them to come on board :) http://igg.me/at/Lc-KC54o76I/x/53648

Have a wonderful week and thank you for your help!

PRAVEEN VARSHNEY ...

Q: What makes you jump for joy?
A: I tell my kids every day you have to have fun and laugh & smile often. And to have an attitude of gratitude, daily & even better all day long. This photo session seemed like a great way to spend some time on a gorgeous Sat morning with the family & you in our beautiful city – and to have fun, smile, laugh & appreciate the opportunity.

Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
A:
F – U – N. As an adult, unless you’re playing sports like volleyball & basketball, you’re generally not ever jumping. So this allowed me to be a kid again & just jump for no reason!

Q: What inspires you in life?

A: To make a difference in as many lives as I can by inspiring others & being of service to them. And to give with no expectation of anything in return. Approaching life from a position of abundance as opposed to scarcity is such a freeing way to live life. My inspiration also comes from all the people close to me – I want to take care of them as well as I can & for them to be as proud of me as possible.

Q: Your greatest passion?
A: My health & family and in that order. If I’m not healthy, I can’t take care of them. In fact, I become a liability as they have to take care of me. Hence, for unselfish reasons, I put my health marginally in front of my family. It’s no different than when on airplane emergency, they say to put your oxygen mask on first before you attend to the kids.

Q: Driving Force?
A:
Integrity – being true to myself & my values. Integrity is a great cornerstone value to build a personal brand with which has allowed me to have business success which leads to time freedom to do the things that I want to do versus that which I have to do. I’ve helped write 2 chapters of 2 different books on this topic which I’m personally very proud of.

Q. Philosophy?
A: I’m writing a book entitled “Do You Want an Ordinary Life or an Extraordinary Life?”  You’ll have to wait for it but it covers this topic in detail!

Q: Anything in the world?
A:
I love changing the world through entrepreneurship which is why I belong to two global groups, eonetwork.org and TiE.org. It’s so much fun starting a new venture, building it up, creating jobs, creating value for all stakeholders (team members, suppliers, shareholders & ourselves!). There isn’t anything I would change except somehow find more hours in the day to do more of what I do. Many people dread Mondays, for me everyday’s a Monday & I look forward to it – when you love what you do, your passion & purpose combine together so it’s fun vs.work.

Q: Working on?
A:
Aside from starting companies, I love to start charitable organizations. The most recent one is instrumentsbeyondborders.org I’m just working on another very cool one which hopefully will launch this Fall.

Mini Bio:

I’m on a mission to help get rid of excess waste, especially plastic. Please check out our Facebook group, Down to the Last Straw. One simple action is when you order a drink at a restaurant or bar, tell the server right then to NOT bring you a single use plastic straw
