"Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ."

TI-BO means "little kiss." This young man came into our home eight years ago when his grief-stricken father brought him to us after his wife had died and he was unable to care for all nine of his children. Ti-Bo was four at the time, and only weighed twelve pounds.

Since then, he has grown into a healthy, vibrant, and energetic twelve year-old. We thank the Lord for his healing, health, and his physical and spiritual growth. Ti-Bo loves to play sports, and is at the top of his class at school. We are so proud of the intelligent young man he is becoming, and can't wait to see all that God has in store for his life!

Ti-Bo is currently 22% sponsored to cover his basic needs such as food, clothing, clean drinking water, education, and medical care. Click on the button below to learn how to sponsor him and help us bring this number up to 100%!

Welcome Back Lexie!

We are excited to welcome Lexie Anderson back onto the Child Hope team! Lexie has lived in Haiti for the past three years, where she served as a nurse in our medical clinic, as well as in many other capacities both with Child Hope and with other organizations. She has loved our kids so well over these past three years, and we are so excited that she will be officially stepping back onto the Child Hope team as the Holistic Care Coordinator. Lexie will be overseeing not just the physical well-being of our kids, but also their emotional and spiritual health that too often gets overlooked. We can't wait to witness how God continues to use Lexie's gifts to nurture and grow our kids! Follow along on Lexie's blog.
The Facilities Campaign is in full swing! We are hoping to raise $20,000 by August 1st to make some much needed repairs to our boys' and girls' homes. We have raised over $3,500 so far...only $16,500 left to go! Help us by spreading the word to your own community, hosting a fundraiser, or maybe even come to Haiti to serve if you have skills in plumbing, tiling, carpentry, electrical work, or painting. Contact us if you would like to learn more, and please consider giving if you feel led!

"See You Later" to the Manassero Family

This past June we said "see you later" to the Manassero family here in Haiti. In case you missed it, they will be taking at least a year long sabbatical back in California - read more on the Child Hope blog. We had a little celebration for them before they left to say "see you later" and share in all of the ways that they have impacted so many lives during their 10+ years in Haiti. Manasseros, you will be deeply missed, and we can't wait to witness how God works in this new season! Check out a few photos from the celebration below.

Interested in supporting the Manassero family as they are on sabbatical? Contact King's Harbor Church to learn how.
